About AGFAB
At its inception in 1989, the business provided part time quality maintenance services to the farming community of Werribee South. In these early years John Frattin, the owner of Agfab, worked full time for Melbourne Water as a maintenance fitter and, in the evenings and over the weekend John would work in his Werribee South workshop repairing, overhauling and modifying all types of farming equipment, gradually building the Agfab name. In 1991 Melbourne Water decided to outsource its maintenance division so John took the opportunity to employ some of the key tradespeople made redundant.
Agfab's customer base has grown steadily from its farming community roots to providing maintenance support for Melbourne Water, major construction companies and general industry throughout Victoria. This growth has enabled the business to move twice and it is now situated at Point Cook, some 10 kilometres from its initial location at Werribee South.
Agfab Engineering is a proud family owned and run business with John and three of his children now working within the company where the employees are treated as a part of the extended family.

All Agfab employees and subcontractors embrace our customer focused culture and the requirement to deliver an honest working approach to every project we undertake.
Our capabilities in engineering and fabrication are virtually limitless and in some cases unique - from minor workshop design and fabrication, through to more complex on-site construction and maintenance contracts, where continuous plant operation is vital and operational shutdown must be avoided.
